ABC Fire Protection, Inc is currently accepting applications for full time fire extinguisher technicians to perform inspection, maintenance, and repair on portable fire extinguishers, who will be responsible for testing, inspecting, and certifying and selling fire extinguishers.

Duties:

  • Inspect all types of fire extinguishers
  • Perform 6 year maintenance
  • Install, relocate, replace, repair fire equipment
  • Communicate with customers and sell required services to ensure fire equipment compliance
  • Be able to work independently in company vehicle, handle invoicing and appointments
  • Keep service vehicle clean, organized and well stocked
  • Complete all work as scheduled
  • Must be willing to drive to multiple locations

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • organized, motivated, and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Be able to lift and carry 50 pounds WHEN NEEDED
  • Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Have a valid California Drivers license
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Having a working cell phone
  • Have the motivation to gain the knowledge and experience needed to eventually become fully independent and able to train others
  • A reliable vehicle, truck or van highly preferred

ABC Fire Protection, Inc is currently accepting applications for a technician who can support our existing service team, specifically with inspection, annual maintenance, and repairs of portable fire extinguishers. You will be working alongside state certified technicians, in the field.

If no current California State Fire Marshal License, must be willing to gain the experience and knowledge needed to obtain the license within 3 months. Must have the ability to work well and communicate with others. Clean background, valid driver's license, good driving record and safe work history is required.

Duties:

  • Assisting with visual extinguisher inspections for annual service
  • Assisting with full extinguisher tear downs/re-fills
  • Assisting with installation, relocation, replacement and repair of fire extinguishers.
  • Communicating with clients and customers to understand all current/upcoming service and product purchasing needs
  • Assisting with keeping vehicles clean, organized and well stocked.
